4507 THIS INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY NANNIE B. CAARICO. There seems to be a problem with this information as Ironton Ohio is not in Butler county. MARR: Marriage Bonds from Owingsville, Bath,Kentucky. Book 6 date 188 - 1898 page 235: Emma Hatten and James Wells 28 October 1897. Wells, James Andrew (I495)

4508 THIS INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY WALTER SHROUT 17 DEC 1975. Also a pedigree sheet by Annabelle Shrout Golden, Elmo Guy (I915)

4509 This is certainly my Goodan line. I will add this documentation to my Goodan dbase. Daniel Goodan is my 3 great grandfather, Levi Goodan is my 2 great grandfather; SB Goodan is my great greatuncle. Actually Eady Goodan is the daughter of Daniel Goodan and Sarah Williams. The name Mary appears in the 1850 KY Census. We must assume there was a second wife, Mary. Eady's sister,Elizabeth, is reported on her death cert to be the daughter of Daniel and Sarah Goodan. Underwood, Steven (I4302)

4510 This is given by some as the death date but his gravestone has been found on the property of his son George in Licking County. Wells, Richard (I1156)

4511 This is not the Charles W Douglas who married Mary Billingsly as his parents are Jefferson Douglas and Sarah which can be show using his death record and the 1860 Census of Randolph, Ohio, Indiana. Douglass, Charles K. (I9461)

4512 This line needs researching. I have posted a research document from another researcher. Riggs, William H. Junior (I4909)

4513 This looks fishy Family F2155

4514 This may be a daughter Wells, Ora (I4946)

4515 This may not be a wife of James Albert Ginter. Thompson, Emma (I230)

4516 This name came from the SS death index and is a guess Rohrenbach, George Carl (I5548)

4517 This person is listed in the Will of Leah Lammie the sister of James Wells. Louie is listed as the daughter of James. May have married a Casey and may be buried in North Middletown Cemetery.

In the North Middletown Cemetery there is a Mary A. wife of Jno Case Birth July 18, 1842 died March 6, 1897 at N 38 08.889 W 084 06.625. This I think is the mother of Edward Thomas Casehusband of Louie. There is also a stone with Jessie and Ethel Case. Ethel 1895-1976 and Jessie 1891-1955 with an infant daughter Marion 1920. (This I think to be the son of Edward Thomas Caseand his wife and daughter. On the opposite side is another Atchison Robert 1905-1991 and Frances 1913-1999. N36 08.562 W 084 06.599. I do not at this time know who the Atchison's are but theymust be of some relation.

There is a Edward Thomas Case death certificate that list a wife as Louie Wells Case (late).

Also in a pedigree resource file there is a Edward Thomas Case with wife of Louise Wells.

At this time I do not know who is the parents of Louie Wells other than what the will of Leah Lammie has to show.
Wells, Louie (I3600)

4518 This person looks like a duplicate to #54 Thomas Wells Wells, Thomas (I4144)

4519 This person may not be a daughter Rakes, Mary L. (I7753)

4520 This seems to be mixed up with Beverly W Nixon?? Neesd more work Family F2036

4521 This Shrout is of another clan. This starts with Johan Peter Shrout, Sr., then Peter Shrout, Jr., next is Abraham, and Andrew Wayne Shrout, born October 10, 1814 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. He died April 4, 1907 in Shelby, Indiana. Andrew was the Post Master of Buzzard Roost in 1852. It was supposed to be named in his honor but due to a typographical error, it was named Sprout instead of Shrout. The following is from 'History of Shelby County Inc.' by Chadwick, 1909, pp 692-693 as it is in Joys Adams book. 'Though originally Virginians, the Shrouts became domiciled in Kentucky at an early period of the last century. Andrew Wayne Shrout, who was born in Bourbon County Kentucky, October 10, 1814, of Virginia parents, was perhaps the most noted man that ever bore the name Shrout. His business was farming and merchandising, success being achieved in both lines, and his entire life with the exception of the last five years was spent in his native state of Kentucky. He was quite versatile in his habits, possessed boundless energy, and during his long active life, he was engaged in many enterprises. Among his ventures were a sawmill and lumberyard which he managed with his usual vim and skill, always exacting a profit from whatever he undertook. After a carrier of much prominence and popularity in Kentucky, he came to Shelby County, Indiana, around 1902, to be near his son, Doctor William Taylor Shrout. Here at the age of 88, he purchased land and started a new business. He made his home at Waldron until 1907, at which time it could be truly said of him that he was the most respected man of the county. He joined the Masonry and was a Royal Arch Mason all his life. He also joined the Grangers when the movement almongst the betterment of conditions invaded Kentucky. He married Sarah Highland of German parentage who was born in Bourbon, Kentucky, June 29, 1917 and died July 1, 1886. They became parents of eleven children: Amelia Ann, Abraham T., James Denmon, William Taylor, Isaac M., Samuel J., John W., Hannah Elizabeth, Mary C., Andrew George, and Annie L.' In the 1850 Nicholas County census, Andrew is listed as being a tavern keeper. In the Shrout-Hopkins Bible is found that Andrew remarried after Sarah's death. He married Mrs. Stewart. In the 1850 census it shows Andrew and wife Anna M. Contributed by T. A. Shrout
