    1. [S726] KY: Bath County, Early Marriages Bonds, Issued by Bath County, Year Issued 1826, Person(s) of Interest John Ginter and Pleasant Oakley, (posted to db on 15 May 2013).
      Know all men by these presents that we John Ginter and Pleasant Oakley are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the ? and full sum of ?50 current money of Kentucky which payment will be truly be made unto the said Commonwealth. We bind our selves our heirs Executors and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents ? and do this 1st day of April 1826. The condition of the above obligation is such that where as there is a marriage shortly intended to be had and solarized between the above known John Ginter & Polly Oakley.

      Now should there be no lawful cause to obstruct the said intended marriage then this obligation to be void else to remain in full force and ? in law

      Also attached the following note:

      Mr William Sudath ??? justify you to give John Ginter license to marry my daughter Polley Oakley. Attested Pleasant Oakley and Christopher Oakley. C. Oakley
