    1. [S995] AA: Relationship - Birth, (Date posted to database 17 Nov 2015).
The following document(s) are used for the conclusion that [Susannah Waddle] was born on the [1778] at [Maryland].

Birth Date: In the 1810 Census with her husbband she is listed as between 26-45 [1765-1784]. In the 1820 Census with her husband she is listed as between 26-45 [1775-1794]. In the 1830 Census with her son Edmund she is listed as 50-60 [1770-1780]. This would mean that she was born sometime between 1775 and 1780. The average of these 2 (1775+1780)/2=1778

      Birth Location:
In the 1880 census for Thomas Wells of Kansas he indicates his mother was born in Maryland. In the 1880 census for Alexander he indicates his mother was born in Kentucky. Since the state of Kentucky was not formed until 1792, which is after Susannah would have been born I have selected Maryland as her birth place.

    2. [S548] KY: Montgomery County, 1810 U.S. Federal Census Population Schedule (CN), Page Number 374, Household Number 43, Household of Benjn Wells, (posted to db on 31 October 2012).
      Household of Benjn. Wells:
      (Males:) Under 10 = 5, 10 to U16 = 1, 16 to U26 = 0, 26 to U45 = 1, 45+ = 0
      (Females:) Under 10 = 0, 10 to U16 = 0, O16-U26 = 1, 26 to U45 = 1, 45+ = 0

      Maybe like this Thomas/Benjamin/Richard/Edmund/James/Joseph/Benjamin - Elizabeth/ Susannah..

    3. [S550] KY: Bath County, 1820 U.S. Federal Census Population Schedule (CN), Household of: Benjamin Wells, (posted to db on 27 June 2012).
      Household of Benjamin Wells:
      (Males:) Under 10 = 3, 10 to U16 = 4, Between 16/18 = 0, 16 to U26 = 1, 26 to U45 = 0, 45+ = 1
      (Females:) Under 10 = 0, 10 to U16 = 0, 16 to U26 = 1, 26 to U45 = 1, 45+ = 0

Maybe like this: 8 sons 1 daughter. (340101-00110-00-00) Alexander/John/Thomas/Benjamin/Richard/Edmund/James/Benjamin; Elizabeth/Susannah. This has a missing individual as there are 8 sons so who is missing?

Elizabeth and Joseph have already married and are not living here but are listed with their spouse's at a different location.

    4. [S710] KY: Kentucky Tax List, Issued by Bath County, Tax Record, Date Recorded 1825, Person(s) of Interest Susannah Wells, (posted to db on 29 March 2013).
1825 Owned 50 acres of property in Bath County Kentucky. Slate and Rose Run water course. This property was owned by Benjamin in 1824.

Listed the same 50 acres that were owned by Benjamin Wells. This was property on Rose Run and listed in the name of Blackwell, 2 horses and he had land on Slate Creek and Rose Run. It would appear that this is the same property as was listed for Benjamin Wells in 1824.

This could be a different piece of property. Susanna had a different water course and also different warrants.

    5. [S536] KY: Barren County, 1830 U.S. Federal Census Population Schedule, Page Number 206, Household of Edmund Wells, (posted to db on 15 February 2013).
Edward Wells household, Males: 2000100000000, Females: 1000100100000
      Maybe like this:
      Males: 2 under 5 - Benjamin and Thomas, 1 20-30 - Edmund, Females: 1 under 5 - Cynthia Ann, 1 20-30 - Mary Ann, 1 50-60 - Susannah?

I think this person and Edmund are the same. Their children match this census entry although the parents seem to be in the wrong age bracket. Some think the older female is Susanna Wells the mother of Edmund, the age seems to match but there is no proof of this.

    6. [S769] AA: Calculation, (posted to db on 10 August 2013).
The following document(s) are used for the conclusion that [Susannah] died about [1830] at [Bath County, Kentucky].

      Death Date:
Susannah is shown on the 1830 census of Edmund Wells, her son, as being between 50 and 60 years old and is not found on latter census. This would make her deceased sometime after 1830.

      Death Location:
Susannah death place is based on the 1830 Census of Edmund Wells as being in Bath County, Kentucky.
